November is Anti-Bullying Month and TeamNerd Reviews is hosting the KIND WORDS, LOVE ACTS campaign from November 15 through November 30 to speak out against bullying, support those who have been bullied and spread awareness of the epidemic that is spreading way too fast.
We are teaming up with our families, friends, fellow reviewers and bloggers, and authors to write posts which cover the following:
--From Me to My Bully: Have you ever been bullied? Have you ever wanted to speak out to that bully? Some of those participating will be writing a letter to the person or persons that bullied them addressing how they felt and what they always wanted to say.
--Dear Younger Me: This is also another way to write a letter/message except this one will be to the younger version of those who had been bullied and what they would want to say to themselves now that they are older.
--Words of Hope: Participants will write a piece giving advice or solidarity to those who face bullying whether in the work place, at school, or even at home. No matter where the bullying occurs many suffer in silence and need words of love and encouragement.
--Education Counts: Our teachers and administers play a HUGE role in our children’s lives and affect not only how children see themselves but how they learn to interact with one another. Participants are also welcomed to write a piece on what they think teachers and administers can do to improve social interactions at school and bring awareness to students about bullying.
