Tell me Something Tuesday

This is a weekly meme coming to you from Cambria Hebert's blog. The description, from her blog is:
Welcome to my weekly meme Tell Me Something Tuesday where I ask you something and you tell me the answer!! It’s as simple as that and I thought it would be a great way for all of us bloggers to get to know one another! So this is how it works: I post a question here on my blog and then i give my answer. I invite all the bloggers to take the question and post it on their blog with their answer and we can hop around and see what everyone says! If you are a blogger don’t forget to leave your link at the bottom of this post (at Cambria's blog, please - I don't have Mr. Linky)! If you aren’t a blogger – that’s okay too!! Leave your answer in the comments section!

Tell Me Something:
What is your favorite thing to eat? What about to make? (Include a recipe if you can!)

I don't cook anymore, because a) I don't have the counter space to mix things b) the oven in this place scares the crap outta me and c) it hurts me way too much to stand up long enough to do even the simplest of things. I used to love making cookies, muffins, brownies and the like - I had this awesome cookie recipe that sadly got destroyed, but it used a lot of really interesting ingredients and was a huge favorite with my classmates back in the day - I was always asked to bring them for class trips, tournaments and so forth. They had chocolate chips, coconut flakes, peanuts and several types of spices (nutmeg, cloves and the like) - very tasty.

My favorite food, hand's down, is a lovely, juicy steak with horseradish.

My husband makes one for me at least a couple times a week, as I need high levels of protein and red meats to feel well - don't ask me why, but when I don't regularly eat red meat, I start to feel really awful. T-bone is my favorite, if I can get it, but any good-quality, American raised piece of steak will be OK - my husband has this trick, I've not quite mastered it myself, using oil and spices that is just to die for. Delicious!!

That's my answer and I'm sticking to it. If you follow this meme (which I do mostly just by reading; this is only the 2nd time I've posted a blog myself), then next week's question is:
Next week’s TMST question is:

If you could be any animal what would you be and why?

I have to admit I am not much of a meat eater so I don't eat steak but that picture looks tempting! I know horshradish goes well with it though. :)
